As the Marketing Design Intern for the Distribution Division, I was responsible for creating original artwork and graphic content to be used in communications between stations, producers and radio networks. I also managed the division’s social media accounts and content promotion newsletter, Showcase.

NPR Distribution Official Website Rebranding Launch

I was responsible for adjusting the organization and formatting of information flow within each page of the newly designed website. Through Webflow, I was able to make final touch changes to the eye-catching imagery and infographics in relation to how it functions alongside textual information and links.

Video Walkthrough of New Website

I created a short video tutorial of how to navigate the new website and highlight certain functionalities that were newly implemented.

MetaPub

MetaPub is NPR Distribution’s service that gathers broadcast program metadata and makes it available to stations to deliver to end-user devices such as HD radios and smartphones.

I was responsible for synthesizing the information required by producers for inputting their metadata into the system and creating attractive and easy-to-follow handouts and video tutorials. These materials were distributed to all producers participating within the ContentDepot system as instructional guides.

The HUB (Radio Network Distribution)

The HUB is a fully-managed distribution service that allows networks to send programming to stations without the costs of operating a local head end.

I created this handout and its custom logo and infographic to explain and advertise the features and benefits of the HUB which was used by the Distribution Division's business branch to be shown to prospective customers so that they can get a better understanding of the service.

Monthly ContentDepot Newsletters

I was responsible for the layout, distribution and tracking of Showcase, a monthly newsletter highlighting various producer offerings available to stations. I created a new and refreshing email banner design to draw readers' attention to the newsletter content. Showcase is distributed to over 2200 recipients via Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Graphic Designer

As a contracted Graphic Designer, I was responsible for creating original artwork to pair alongside informational text on each page of the website, designing succinct and distinguishable iconography, formatting a standardized Powerpoint/Slides template for the NPR Distribution Division, and drawing up holiday cards that are printed/emailed to stations and producers to show NPR's appreciation for them.
